Lunch at a
Ministry
Agape
Development
A dozen business
people from The
Get Together had
lunch with
residents of
Agape
Development's
Gateway
Residential
Program on
November 3.
Gateway is a
duplex in the
Third Ward that
houses seven
young adults in
their early 20's
who have made a
year-long
commitment to
intense
discipleship and
training.
During this
year, Agape's
staff and
volunteers equip
Gateway
graduates with
all the skills
they need to
live as healthy,
independent,
God-honoring
adults.
During lunch,
Gateway
residents shared
their career
aspirations and
GT members
discussed ways
to assist them
in getting
internships in
fields such as
education,
retail and
communication.
Freddie Albaugh
is leading a
team that will
assist Agape
with finding and
securing
internships for
Gateway
residents.
