New cabinets/installation for an office work room (approximately 16 feet of cabinets). We need base and top cabinets with a scratch-resistant top.  It is about 10 ft down one side of the wall, corner, then 6 feet down the other wall.  We want a work desk in the corner for a computer.  The room is gray so we wanted something that was that color or complimenting.  It’s for our new building so that’s why we need it new.  The cabinets will store paper, office supplies, etc.  I think volunteers can install it but it would probably have to be bought new.

--Friendship families for students
--Authors for internet news service that provides information to international students.  For example, how to speak American English, free cultural events around town, how to get established here (shopping hints, where to buy, etc.), cultural behaviors, etiquette, nice places to visit, dealing with cultural shock, where to get food from home, etc.  Any information that a person who is completely new to this area and culture would need to know to get along here is fair game.
Hopefully, if we had some folks who could research these things and keep us current on items going on, that would help a lot.  We would take care of the publishing part so all they would need to do is to generate the content and we would take it from there.
